Mike previously served in corporate, consulting, and government organizations and at an international law firm. Mike was the General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer of LookingGlass Cyber Solutions, where he provided counsel and strategic advice on the execution of SaaS, data platform, managed services, and hardware lines of business. Prior to that, Mike served on the senior leadership team of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Cyber Division, where he helped to lead national cyber strategy and the FBI’s responses to major cyber attacks and breaches; and in the Civil, Criminal, and National Divisions of the U.S. Department of Justice. After 9/11, Mike served as an original member of the “fly away” team tasked to prosecute terrorist financing cases and he ultimately came to lead the national terrorist financing prosecution program. Mike began his legal career at the international law firm of Paul Hastings. Prior to law school, Mike was a software developer. Mike graduated with a B.A. from Duke University, a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and an MBA from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business.
