Marianne Winkler

She previously spent 8 years at Andreessen Horrowitz, where she was most recently a Tax Director at a16z crypto. Her experience encompasses both finance and tax positions in the Alternative Asset industry in private industry and public accounting. She has served as the Chief Financial Officer of a hedge fund ($2BAUM), venture fund ($500M AUM), and private equity fund ($1B AUM). Additionally, she was instrumental in forming one of the first peer-to-peer credit funds in the industry. Prior to joining a16z, Marianne was a Tax Director in the Venture and Private Equity Tax practices of PricewaterhouseCoopers and BDO Siedman. Marianne is also a CPA and J.D.; she graduated from University of San Diego School of Law.
