New Mexico’s sovereign wealth fund is investing $50M in a bet that scientists will build startups in Albuquerque

The state’s sovereign wealth fund, the New Mexico State Investment Council (SIC), two weeks ago agreed to invest $50 million as an anchor check for Roadrunner’s first venture capital fund, approximately $20 million of which will go directly into Roadrunner itself.
